It will feature appearances from trailblazing artists such as Roxanne Shante, Sha Rock, Queen Latifah, Da Brat, Yo-Yo, MC Lyte, and more, as well as rising stars like Latto, Rapsody, Coi Leray, Tierra Whack, Kash Doll, Saweetie, and others. The series will also include insights from label executives, producers, stylists, and music journalists. The trailer shows Queen Latifah expressing the importance of unity among women in hip hop, emphasizing that they are stronger when they support each other. "Ladies First: A Story Of Women In Hip Hop" will premiere on Netflix on Wednesday, August 9.
